Last updated: August 14, 2026. PassMyDMV (passmydmv.com and the PassMyDMV mobile apps) is operated by John Shoufler, a sole proprietor in Russellville, Arkansas. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
Account data if you create an account: email address, password hash, and practice progress.
Purchase data if you buy access: the plan, timestamps, and a Stripe (or Apple / Google) payment reference. We do not store full card numbers.
Support email if you write us.
Basic server logs needed to run and secure the site. We do not run third-party ad networks or sell mailing lists.
First-party usage data: a random browser identifier, visited page paths, source category, device type, practice milestones, offer views, and checkout outcomes help us improve the study experience. Account activity and payment outcomes are recorded by our servers. We do not use these records to claim that every browser identifier is a unique person.
How we use it
To run your account, save progress, process one-time purchases, honor the pass guarantee, answer support mail, and keep the service working. We do not sell personal information.
Who else sees it
Stripe processes web payments.
Apple and Google process in-app purchases when you buy inside those stores.
Hosting and email providers process the minimum needed to deliver the site and mail.
Your choices
Request correction or deletion at /delete-account/ or by emailing support.
Unsubscribe from exam-reminder mail using the link in those emails.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian should manage teen learner-permit accounts.
