What we do
We turn each state's official driver manual into realistic practice tests for the car (Class D), motorcycle, and commercial (CDL) written exams. You can start practicing for your state for free, and upgrade to full access when you're ready to study seriously. Our goal is simple: get you to the DMV prepared and confident.
What makes our questions different
Most practice-test sites pull generic questions from who-knows-where. We don't. Every PassMyDMV question is written from your state's official driver manual, and every answer explanation ends with a citation that deep-links to the exact page of the manual the rule comes from. Who operates PassMyDMV
PassMyDMV is operated by John Shoufler, a sole proprietor based in Russellville, Arkansas (same operator as BooksAndGuidesPro). It is an independent study tool — not a government agency and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of any state DMV, DFA, DDS, or driver-licensing office. For official fees, appointments, and legal requirements, use the official agency link on each state page.

- Answer explanations cite the manual page the rule comes from so you can verify the source.
- We correct reported errors. If a question looks wrong, email support with the state, class, and question text.
